::  Our goal in the student ministry is to create opportunities for the Holy Spirit to lead our students to know Christ, grow closer to Him and each other, and go share his love with the world…  Know, Grow, and Go!  We believe so strongly in joining in God's mission that we want anyone who wants to participate to have the opportunity.  So we have committed to keep the cost of our mission trips affordable for teenagers and their families.  We do this by asking the church to provide the cost of travel and asking the student to pay for everything else like food, lodging, ministry costs, etc.   How can you help?  Here are a few opportunities...

:: Need a Teen? Could you use a teen to mow the lawn, rake the leaves, babysit, clean the house, wash the car, etc.? Our students  would love to serve you as a way to raise money for their mission trip.  If you would like a teen to contact to you about an opportunity, please click on the need a teen button to the left and fill out the form, or fill out a form and put it in the box in the narthex.  (Suggested donation of $10 an hour per student)

:: Boarding Pass Jesus said, "Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."  Our desire is not just about money, but about hearts.  Our hope is that as you financially support a specific student, it will open the door to support them with your heart through prayer, encouraging words or letters, and hopefully, a relationship.  Each student is raising $700 for food, lodging, transportation, mission materials, gifts for the church and everything else that costs money once we are on the island.  We are asking the church to help provide for the plane trip there.  For $250, you or your small group can pay for a boarding pass one way to or from Jamaica.  So get on board by picking up a students boarding pass from the treasure chest in the narthex!

 

:: Sole to Soul 5k On Saturday, June 5, St. Andrew's Student Ministry will be hosting a 5k run/walk at Burns Park.  Whether you are a serious runner or just enjoy a 3.1 mile walk through the woods on a paved trail, we invite you and your family to join us for a 5k benefiting our youth missions.  Click on the logo to learn more or click here to register!
